I have the LG 55B7P and use it for both console and pc gaming. I should also add I’m super duper particular with my electronics and once I see something wrong I can’t unsee it.

Burn-in/screen retention is real and does exist with static images - if you stay on top of it you can manage/negate it before it’s truly “burnt in”

One of the biggest offenders for me is DragonBall FighterZ - the health bars burn in like crazy.

My tv and many other OLEDs have options to treat retention (mine is called pixel refresher) and every time I’ve used it it has wiped all signs of burn-in.

Now I can schedule mine or have it automatically do it whenever I turn the TV off - those options help alleviate the issue with minimal oversight. I would just hope whatever you get has that kind of option to help out
