There have been many leaks regarding the Xbox 720 and its specs, but this new one to surface details the memory system of the upcoming Microsoft console.

According to a report from GamenGuide on Friday, a new leak has surfaced that completely dissects the memory system inside of the Xbox 720.

The Xbox 720 will be featuring two different types of memory. That will be 8GB of DRAM and 32MB of ESRAM.

The DRAM will be doing most of the performance work with supporting the CPU, GPU, display, audio performance and other functions.

It will also be able to read and write a bandwidth of 68GB per second, and that is exclusive to every processing function inside of the Xbox 720.

On the other hand, the ESRAM works with the GPU and move engines, which will help bring down latency issues. While running at a 102GB per second bandwidth, that extra bit of memory it has will allow functions within the system to run at high frame rates without issue.

As most people know with leaks and specs reports by now, none of this has been confirmed by Microsoft, and neither has the existence of the Xbox 720, but many people are convinced this material has truth behind it.

At this point, there have been so many specs leaks over the past few months that it all is sort of blending together and really, those who are "leaking" this information should just keep it to themselves, since Microsoft will announce the dang thing in a matter of months.

The Xbox 720's specs were interesting about three months ago, but now it's time to just wait for Microsoft to give the official word.

UPDATE: Microsoft has provided an official response to this story.

"We do not comment on rumors or speculation. We are always thinking about what is next for our platform, but we don’t have anything further to share at this time," a Microsoft spokesperson said.
