SEGA sent out word today that Happy Tree Friends False Alarm is currently in development for PC and the Xbox Live Arcade and on schedule for a release this fall. Stainless Studios is responsible for developing duties for this digital download only release.

On Happy Tree Friends False Alarm’s announcement, Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. said, “The dark humor and twisted characters of Happy Tree Friends will act as a great foundation for creating a fun and entertaining universe for gamers and fans of the show alike.”

Happy Tree Friends False Alarm is an action-puzzle game based on the popular cartoon. In it, players take control of Flippy, Lumpy, and Handy and work through physics-based, dynamic 3D environments to save the crew from disastrous situations. The game will feature 10 levels including environments such as mine shafts, candy factories, and museums.
