More than two years ago, Agere systems filed a lawsuit against Sony over potential infringement on its patents relating to the wireless local area network apparatus. And it seems as if Agere has won its battle and Sony has been ordered to pay $18.5 million to the company for use of their technology in devices including the PSP.
