1UP的EGM LIVE编辑Shane Bettenhausen参加了上个星期的小岛podcast。在5月21日的EGM LIVE中（http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3149975），Bettenhausen表示PS3版MGS4将于3月（或2月）发售，同时透露MGS4将登陆X360。X360版将在PS3版发售后公布，360版发售日期可能比PS3版晚半年。

X360版MGS4将根据360主机特性进行优化，但是MGS4开发还是以PS3硬件为主。
