SE总裁和田洋一在财务报告会上表示：FF13开发还需要一些时间。目前可以完全确定，FF13绝对不会在本财年发售（It will still take a bit more time. At the very least, [a release] this fiscal year is definitely out of the question）。

这也就是说，在2008年3月份前FF13不可能在日本发售。
