BIG-MATCH FACTS

Treble chasing Manchester United take on Portsmouth, looking for a fourth Premier League win in a row, a ninth in 10 and 18th in 21.

The Red Devils are defending an unbeaten home league record, having won 11 on the bounce at Old Trafford since being held by Reading
in the opening league fixture at the Theatre of Dreams.

Portsmouth have not beaten a "Big Four" club in six attempts so far this season.

Harry Redknapp is one of three Premier League managers in a second spell at their current club,
and looking for a 50th Premier League victory from his two stints in charge at Fratton Park.

This match once again pits the two oldest managers in the Premier League against each other;
Sir Alex Ferguson is 66, Redknapp 60, just four months older than Fulham's Roy Hodgson.

If he keeps goal as usual, Portsmouth's David James will be making his 500th Premier League appearance.

Manchester United are defending a 100% home Premier League record against Portsmouth;
won four of four with an aggregate of 11-1.

Portsmouth have not registered a league victory at Old Trafford for over 50 years; since a 0-3 top-flight triumph on 19 October 1957.
