ne of the most expected Windows Mobile smartphones from Sony Ericsson is the Xperia X1. People have been waiting for it for quite a while now and it seems they are in for an even longer wait. Due to apparent OS failures the handset will be postponed to December 2008 or even January 2009.

Sony and Ericsson seem to have arrived at a turning point in their partnership. Their recent problems caused rumors all around the Internet. According to those rumors Sony wants out of the partnership if things aren’t going to improve for their joint mobile adventure. What does that mean? The Xperia X1 might be the last Windows Mobile smartphone to come from Sony Ericsson before the companies would part. We might even see this Xperia as an Ericsson Xperia X1 in the future.

No matter what Sony and Ericsson do, we can’t help to feel disappointed in regard to this delay. By the time the Xperia X1 will actually arrive, we will have other smartphones to play with.

当时是弱者联盟，两个都不怎么样，尤其爱立信快不行了。
SONY如果自己搞的话比较难，这市场基本瓜分的差不多了。
尤其在现在经济不景气，手机市场不如预期的情况下更难。
某些人总幻想，日机只要把机子拿到国外来卖就秒杀。
真能秒杀的话，怎么一干日厂早不拿不出卖，还在快饱和的日本打破头
