笨机的新办公室!

Above: Bungie's front door. Obvious much? Not when you see the final photo, and just how well-hidden this front door actually is… keep scrolling!

Above: Bungie's bike rack. I'm guessing the decorations will evolve each time Bungie releases a new game

Above: Glorious. And note the clan tag, complete with "7"

Above: These are the first props you'll encounter upon entering

Above: The front lobby and security desk. This is as far into Bungie's lair as most people will ever get

Above: And this is as far as anyone, outside of Bungie employees with Bungie keycards, ever gets. I got chased by a guard simply for snapping this photo. No wonder, too – somewhere up those stairs, the developer's mysterious next project is underway

Above: Back in press-friendly territory, an endless hallway of Halo-plastered monitors and standees

Above: A few steps farther

Above: The extremely shiny Bungie awards cabinet. Wait, what's that note on the right?

Above: "Nipple incident"?! Whoa, why couldn't I have noticed this before I left… what a spectacular interview question that would have been!

Above: The other cabinet holds replica Halo weapons – do you recognize them all?

Above: Between the two cabinets are these two trophies. I don't know the stories behind them, but the metal fist had something to do with a "Bungie Pentathlon"  while the metal plaque had something to do with the Seattle Mariners baseball team

Above: Look familiar? It's a chunk of the model battleground used in this famous Halo 3 launch commercial

Above: A different angle on the diorama. Master Chief? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Above: Seriously, check out the detail on this thing. Must've taken ages

Above: Bungie's swank new demo theater, with luxurious seating and nightclub lighting

Above: Think they ever play Call of Duty in here?

Above: Welcome to the glamorous world of games journalism

Above: A small room set aside for interviews

Above: Armor used in one of the Halo franchise's many live-action advertisements. Yes, this is wearable!

Above: More armor and… boxes. Lots of boxes

Above: When I visited Bungie's last office building – photo tour here – this Oni poster was cleverly situated next to the women's restroom. What does placing her above the trash and recycling bins imply?

Above: Framed Halo concept art makes for a nice wall collage

Above: As do old magazine covers that celebrate the triumphs of your previous games

Above: Master Chief wants YOU… to learn Spanish

Above: This oversized Penny Arcade strip is displayed proudly in the halls of Bungie. Call me crazy, but I think the two-horned, three-armed, four-mouthed slug beast might be Microsoft. Ouch

Above: Believe it or not, this is Bungie. Everything you just saw is tucked away behind that generic outdoor mall façade. The door, in fact, is right above Gene Juarez's Salon & Spa… classy!
