微软今日宣布Xbox 360独占作品《忍龙II》自6月3号面市以来全球销量已突破100万份，其中超过四成被美国市场消化。
可惜该作制作人坂垣伴信无缘庆功会，他在该作上市后不久便离开Tecmo并诉其欠薪未付，被卷入这场官司的公司总裁Yoshimi Yasuda随后也假借“个人原因”辞去了公司职务。
但蝴蝶效应仍在扩大，坂垣辞职及相关诉讼引发Tecmo市值大幅缩水，这引来了黄雀伺机左右——Square Enix于今天中午一点（当地时间）发表声明，愿意溢价30%（每股960日元，Tecmo昨日收市价706日元）收购Tecmo公司股票以取得控制权，Tecmo可在9月4号前决定是否同意这桩并购。
Square Enix称，如果这项提议被拒绝，它将撤回30%溢价的友好表示。
