原则上来说,冲着艺术成就去做的东西很难真的有多大艺术价值,因为艺术本质上是由内向外的个人表达,是不应该带有功利性的,当然现实确实有很多看上去的反例,比如各种冲奥电影。
During the war I was a radio operator in the Air Force. I was a lousy radio operator.
And my pilot was a lousy pilot. He has had four weeks of training. Already on our second mission, we where shot down over the Crimea. The pilot was killed instantly.
        I was rescued from the wreck by nomadic Tartars. With burns that should have killed me. The farmers, the same farmers I was supposed to bomb pulled me out of the wreck...and nursed me with what they had. They rubbed my wounds with fat...and wrapped me in felt blankets.
        I stayed with them for a year. After that, I found myself captive by the Americans. When I ask myself what I really know, what I really felt in life, what I can say without lying...then it's the fat on my skin. The home of the fat and the felt. If others tell me about love, to women, to their children, or about sex, then I know what they mean...just because I felt the felt and fat on my skin.
        Before that I hadn't experienced anything. My childhood was happy and protected.
A few slaps, not many. My teacher liked me. I wanted to become a businessman,
        like my father. I had no artistic talent. And I had no experiences since then. I remained cheerful. I spent the end of the war in a military hospital with friendly nurses. Very friendly. After that, quite quick success and this professorship here.
But...the fat and the felt...I penetrated them, I understood them...like Descartes understood that he exists. "I think, therefore I am" He questioned everything. Everything. Everything could be an illusion, deception, imagination. But then he knew that indeed something must be there to have these thoughts. And that consequently something must exist. And this Something, he calls..."I".

其实你们都在用必须好玩的观点却束缚游戏的表现形式,有一类玩家玩游戏就是为了看到美的风景画面和触动到自己的表现形式,镜头,剧情演出等等,对他们来说就是好游戏了。

比如我对任天堂全家毫无兴趣,我不会为了别人口中的好玩而特意去玩它的游戏;我也对神秘海域系列单机毫无兴趣,但我会为了看美丽的风景去玩一玩这个系列(必须承认我对欧美大部分大作罐头一般的玩法都是厌恶的,但玩的时候还是会发自内心的赞叹美轮美奂的视觉盛宴,会忍不住去了解游戏背景和现实中的遗迹和曾经的文明…,但我不会为了所谓的好玩去玩任天堂全家,说到底我也不认同任天堂那套好玩,而且它的游戏也没有美丽的镜头和独特的美术这些能触动我的东西),游戏性因人而异,游戏需求也是因人而异,游戏性外的东西也有很多玩家有各种各样的需求,为游戏性外的东西买单也非常正常,这类游戏是有市场的,能不能获得所有人的高评价不好说,但能打动自己的都是好游戏。

比如 风之旅人,另一个走路模拟器。

游戏就是游戏,其核心永远都是游戏规则和游戏形式,两者相结合产生的化学反应才是游戏的魅力所在。绝地求生,fps加上一个简单的缩圈规则,瞬间成为爆款。我觉得这才是业界该研究的方向,而不是用其他艺术形式来包装游戏,巨额的开发费用早晚拖垮业界。
各取所需不好吗,市场决定谁生存谁死掉
