Fast and creative, Sanchez is an attacker with great potential.

The Londoner, who broke into the Reserve team while still a schoolboy, is comfortable occupying the flank or as a striker, and bagged his first goal in his first appearance of the current campaign; a 2-0 win over Portsmouth at Underhill.

Sanchez (full name Herschel Sanchez Watt) made a total of six appearances for the second-string and a further 21 for the Under-18s. His return for Steve Bould’s side makes impressive reading, his seven goals coming largely from out wide.

In July 2008 Sanchez signed his first professional contract with the Gunners, and the following month he netted against Huddersfield to help Arsenal win the Herbert Chapman trophy at the Galpharm Stadium in pre-season.
