Today the statistics firm Media Create released its weekly analysis of the situation on the Japanese market, and we get an interesting piece of information.

After the 15th week on the shelves (as of June 11th), the Nintendo Switch has an attach rate of 1.60. For those unfamiliar with the term, “attach rate” indicates the ratio of games sold per console sold, basically, how many games the average owner of that console has purchased.

Media Create also mentions that the Switch’s attach rate is superior to that of the Wii U in the same time frame, which was 1.45.
