-Working with AMD-IBM, at least 2 separate team basically 2-3 year ahead of SOny
in working with AMD-IBM,
-1st team concentrate on PowerPC based
-2nd team on Buldozer based
-booth team using same GPU building block
-arm based cpu considered too, direct to bus
-supercomputer architecture considered (ex Sun CTO, ex Cray, etc joined MS)

Analyze:
from MS-AMD-IBM starting point , MS invest more and RD more with them (big partner IBM-AMD)
from SOny-AMD starting point, Sony dont have enough time, they choose simple route, to minor modification the basic AMD building block (only AMD)

Software Side:
MS:
MS also heavy research on multi GPU-CPU software stack/custom OS
Basically they readying the software side for multi GPU/CPU scenario
then we see patented Multimedia Computer with QOS
Sony:
Confusing, as IGN developer survey, and Aegis said, i think it is logical, because sony just choosing AMD at 2011, and just like PS3 they lagged behind on Software side
