Right easy Fix...

Had this with my Vita and my wifes PS3.

Basically becuase 2fa is on, this is to ensure old consoles which are a bit easier to access cannot be used to access your account.

You have to sign in to playstation network and then access this site:

Go to http://idp.sn/device-password and login. Click generate new password and use that as your login password on the PS3.

The text messages only work for PS4/Mobile/Web. PS3 and Vita need to be done as above.


You will then be given a temporary 2FA password to log in after that youll be able to sign in with out issue.

Its basically extra security.
