A hate group is trying to sabotage Black Panther’s Rotten Tomatoes rating




Marvel’s new movie Black Panther is the latest target of an online hate group that is attempting to trash the film’s score on Rotten Tomatoes. The group was, until very recently, operating under the Facebook Page “Down with Disney’s Treatment of Franchises and its Fanboys for harassment.” Facebook suspended that Page yesterday for violating the platform’s rules after receiving reports of harassment.

The Page purported to be home to a group of DC fans who, in an effort to jab at Disney and apparently Marvel fans, made plans to sabotage Rotten Tomatoes’ audience ratings with negative reviews. The “event” was scheduled to happen on February 15, but Facebook instead nuked the Page and Rotten Tomatoes issued a statement saying it will remove any such reviews it gets.

This event was named, “Give Black Panther a Rotten Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes.” Before being suspended, the Page had around 3,700 users listed as planning to “attend” the event. The group also planned to spread around Black Panther spoilers in an effort to ruin fun for Marvel fans and viewers who, apparently, they view as enemies.

The group appears to be motivated for reasons revolving around hatred for minorities and women rather than a fondness for DC, however. Speaking to Inverse, the group’s “leader” accused Disney of “[shoving] SJW messages down our throats.” This individual also reportedly took a jab at minorities.

Before attacking Black Panther, this online collective had set their focus on Star Wars: The Last Jedi and on sabotaging its Rotten Tomatoes score. The movie earned ample attention from misogynists, one of whom went so far as to release an edited 46-minute version of the movie that had all the female characters removed.

前两部都喜欢
摄影师上一部也很意外的惊喜
预告看得到导演风格
听说讨论的更偏向国际政治而不是种族矛盾
真的没啥不期待的理由

除了别有傻缺脑残粉就更好了

我的意思是，影评人给这种评价，我自己不太奇怪，但是后续比较容易让普通观众观后反冲…
当然这也不是说谁的错了…
反正大概估计，实际上映之后，收钱论和过誉论，应该会又火起来…
但是好像不会被人骂尬聊了耶，哦耶…

另外比如creed，你说让大众影迷觉得mtc80多分合理？好吧美国观众倒是挺喜欢的…

再说个不贴边的小例子，昨儿刚看了凯奇的mom  and dad，兴奋之余，一看imdb加豆瓣都是不及格分，喷啊喷，再一看mtc60…

Creed我就是想说他的分是有一点偏高
虽然是不错但也确实大家在捧~
不过要想想现在90多都不少见了 又觉得也还行吧
反正我一直觉得MTC这玩意儿依商业化程度七八十算个线吧
再高了都没啥具体意义~

哈 那个mom and dad我也小喜欢来着 烂归烂 烂的有意思
跟朋友家看的 好玩儿
我顺便推荐一下一起看的另一个Brawl in Cell 99 惊喜极了
整体上比那个还要好一大档 也是很有意思
前面按大众说有点儿小闷 吹着点儿说叫拍出了点儿布列松的极简高效率
但到了第三幕就很炸裂了
南方、直、爽、粗、CULT
力王的粉丝还会有情怀加成~
豆瓣情形跟凯奇那个也差不多吧233
不过后来有公众号写了 貌似上去点儿了

说到打分儿这个事儿就想起另一个惨剧
佩恩那个Downsizing
搞那些政确元素原来果真是在调侃
基本上就是Get Out但把屁股往另一边儿放放
媒体真白左那儿怒打差评
更可怕的是那些看不懂好赖话儿的
比如国内好多豆瓣大V觉得你跪舔政确 把花式黑当成漏洞百出的赞美去看 也给个超低分儿
简直喷了...

呵呵 阻止恶意刷分比判断hate speech更没可行性好吗
没有明确的恶意留言 你凭啥定义谁是恶意的
每个网站都声称自己有技术手段阻止刷分
但这么多评分网站 刷分从来没有被完全杜绝过
之前TLJ被刷 RT也就只是回个不可能加一堆漂亮话
在我看来 RT那句话也只是举出了一种会被官方明确当做恶意刷分的判断依据而已
真刷起来根本屁用也不顶
