It’s easy to set up the Apple TV app and start watching on your Samsung Smart TV. Once you open the app on your smart TV, you can explore Apple TV+, browse movies and TV shows, or watch free episodes.
When you’re ready to start watching, you just need an Apple ID to sign in. Afterward, you can subscribe to channels, purchase or rent movies, or purchase TV shows.
How to watch on your 2018 Smart TV
Before you can use the Apple TV app on a 2018 Samsung Smart TV, find and download it from the Samsung App Store.
For a list of specific Samsung Smart TV models that support the Apple TV app, go to https://www.apple.com/apple-tv-app/devices/.
On your Samsung Smart TV’s home screen, select the Samsung App Store icon.
Search for “Apple TV.”
Follow the onscreen instructions to download the Apple TV app.
When installed, the Apple TV app appears in the app launcher bar on the home screen.
In the app launcher, select the Apple TV app TV app to open it.

In the Watch Now tab, scroll down to Apple TV+.
How to watch on your 2019 Smart TV
The Apple TV app can be found on most Samsung Smart TVs from 2019 and later.
For a list of specific Samsung Smart TV models that support the Apple TV app, go to https://www.apple.com/apple-tv-app/devices/.
On your Samsung Smart TV’s home screen, select the Apple TV app icon TV app to open it.

In the Watch Now tab, scroll down to Apple TV+ in the channels row.
If the Apple TV app isn’t already installed on your 2019 Samsung Smart TV’s home screen, follow the instructions in the task above to find and download it from the Samsung App Store.

The Apple TV app, home to Apple TV+ shows and movies, is not yet available on Vizio, LG, and Sony Smart TVs. To watch Apple TV+ on these devices, you need to share your screen from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or other device to your television with AirPlay 2.
