2) disconnect your internet connection from (network and sharing center) to prevent windows from downloading the driver automatically 'see next step'
3) go to device manager 'win + x from desktop of windows 8.1' then choose display adapter then double click your card and go to driver tab and uninstall the driver
4) install the catalyst you downloaded from step 1 and it should works fine
