t isn't a white PS4: it's a commercial Steam Machines box, or at least a prototype of one. iBuyPower tells us that it's building the box for a 2014 launch, but says it's still early.

iBuyPower tells us that it actually has two models, codenamed Gordon and Freeman, in the works. The two consoles are identical, save for the light bar round the middle -- one model's is clear, while the other's is black when not illuminated. And, while the company wouldn't tell us about the boxes' internals, it did confirm that the hardware will run all Steam titles in 1080p resolution at 60fps.

270X也就个7870 而且这货内存绝B是DDR3吧

270x的显存又不是ddr3.。。。

楼上几位喷的，其实没明白valve的战略，valve以steam平台为基础，steam machine只不过是个建议原型机罢了，重点在，steamos这个基于linux的操作系统上，用户只要愿意，依旧可以自己撺PC安装steamos,而且保证开源免费。其实valve的战略构想是改变长期以来以windows平台的游戏开发垄断基架。长期以来，pc开放可windows确是垄断封闭的。
pc有steamos搅局，绝对是好事，让我们感到pc上打破微软垄断的可能性。
对玩家来说,steammachine根本不是开销，而是多了种选择。何乐不为？

不是给电脑换上小箱子给几个视频音频接口就能叫游戏机的。

Valve与蒸汽机在硬件上的唯一联系就是Steam手柄，其它全靠PC厂商自由发挥，270也好280也好780也好爱用什么用什么，499刀能买到啥卡就给你配啥卡。

对娇小型的蒸汽机来说，甚至不配独立显卡用集显也行啊，反正有串流，只要能点亮TV，什么游戏都能跑。
