The Megaten series has a fanbase in Korea because unlike Final Fantasy and Tales, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Persona 3 and Persona 4 were localized with Korean text. Even the Growlanser titles for PS2 were localized in Korean. Atlus move into the region was a big step for JRPGs in South Korea since most publishers just dumped either the Japanese or English versions.
真女神系列在韩国拥有很高的人气因为 真·女神转生III－Nocturne，女神异闻录3，女神异闻录4都发行了韩语版本（最终幻想和传说系列则一直无缘韩国本地化） 。ps2的梦幻骑士系列也都在韩国实现了本地化。atlus这次的做法大力推进了jrpg在韩国的发展。因为很多韩国发行商都不愿意发行日语或者英语版。
Shin Megami Tensei IV for the Nintendo 3DS is following in the same footsteps. Nintendo announced they will localize Shin Megami Tensei IV into Korean and publish the JRPG in the region.
