Naturally, we'd be telling just half the story if we only talked performance. There's an important question that's left: what kind of battery life can you expect? Power is nothing without longevity and, shockingly, the iPhone 5 copes amazingly well. In a day of heavy usage with LTE, GPS and WiFi all enabled, we managed 14 hours and 18 minutes before the phone succumbed to the elements.

On our standard battery rundown test, in which we loop a video with LTE and WiFi enabled and social accounts pinging at regular intervals, the iPhone 5 managed a hugely impressive 11 hours and 15 minutes. That's just 10 minutes shy of the Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx.

骚啊,都赶上ipad1的强度了

不过ipad休眠是不怎么耗电的,电话得保持信号收发~~

日常使用会一直开着屏幕看着视频外放声音网络直连吗?
全功率的14小时日常用48小时我看没问题

黑要有点窍门

比如,
区区14小时算个p,要是掉山沟里24小时没救援就死定了

发布会其实说了，电池单独拿出来讲的。说WIFI Browsing 10Hrs，3G/LTE  Talking/Browsing 8Hrs，Video 10Hrs。当时推上还有哪个站的编辑觉得奇怪来着，因为LTE耗电一向坑爹，8小时不知苹果那小电池能不能真做到。看来实际情况还不错啊

之前4s在3g下重度使用5小时都悬，也就4出头。gs3之流更不用说，开3g导航3小时就完蛋。

4g下8小时我不敢奢望，6，7小时就相当欣慰了

说实话，我对电池这个评测是怀疑的，至少实际使用中肯定没有那么持久，而且会低不少

电池方面没有什么厂家取得突破，现在只能堆体积

不要过分乐观，有望和4持平。

不过已经很逆天了，虽然我宁可厚点重点续航加不少。

与其相信电池技术有新突破，不如说应该是ios6的电量优化较好。看看4s升级ios6后会不会有续航提升吧

我对这个测试结果很怀疑，
首先官方的电池续航数据也就显示和4s差不多的水平而已。没有什么比较突出的地方。
4s开wifi浏览网页 也就6~7个小时，往6靠的更多点。
这5能达到14个小时？呵呵
另外我手里的牛排亮度开一半开wifi一直浏览网页，也就只能坚持8~10个小时而已。不过这续航和ipad一代差不多了，这iphone5居然还能比ipad还能战，至少4代和4s也没人敢说能跟得上ipad把

另外我找了下该站点关于4S的电池评测

In real life, the iPhone 4S offered up eight hours of continuous video playback when we we pushed the battery to its limits. This was done with 3G signal and WiFi switched on, running with push email and Twitter notifications. We also attempted the same test with the phone's contentious timezone location feature enabled, which resulted in a 30 minute reduction in battery life.

由于没蛋疼到开视频测试到没电的经历，因此也不好评估这个结果是否正确

绝壁要入，现在这个GS3的电池坑爹的不是一点半点。
