Even though Nintendo Wii U has not yet been released for sale, Nintendo has already started working on its up-gradation.
The Japanese company Nintendo is focusing on developing multiplayer touchscreen games which can be played by more than one gamers at the same time with the use of a tablet-styled controllers, according to a report by Develop Online.
Earlier, the company stated that at a time only one tablet can be used to play a game but, now the company is working hard to change that, confirmed a game development executive, reported c|net.
The latest Nintendo Wii U was revealed at the gaming conference E3 in June this year. It has a tablet-style controller which features a touchscreen of 6.2 inch, however due to the issue of frame-rate only one can be used with every Wii U.
This tablet-style game controller is an attempt of Nintendo to lure the iPad lovers; however, how much they succeed in their mission depends hugely on the cost of the device. Till now no details regarding the cost of the Wii U have been officially declared by the company. A Nintendo executive did say in July that Wii successor might hit the shelves in April, 2012.
