God of War III cost a lot of bling-bling. $44 million, to be exact.

Sony Studio Monica’s John Hight revealed the piece of info in a video interview with GiantBomb.
“We are stamping discs now, so we’re effectively done. Just got a couple of countries that we’re finishing up on this week, and we spent $44 million to make God of War III,” he revealed.

The reviews embargo broke earlier tonight, with the consensus being “for the love of Christ, buy me.” So yeah, go do that and buy it
God of War III launches next Tuesday in the US and next Friday in the UK.

4400万美刀制作费，算制作方直接能赚到30美元（零售价60），100多万份就回本了，多值啊

那是因为这就是Santa Monica Studio三年的运营费用

因为这三年就出了一个作品

之前Santa Monica Studio就是救火队，其他工作室的Title四处支援

一般第三方的话开发方通常拿不到30，大约是15，当然这是SONY的亲儿子，也要看具体Santa Monica和SONY的分赃比，4400W刀的话，对于次时代开发费用算中等偏上，而且这个算第一方拉动主机销售的话，4400W比较超值的。
