Just a heads up: by no demand whatsoever, UG has joined its sister-site bitGAMER in contributing to Stanford's Folding@home project.
Folding@home is a distributed computing project whose goals include simulating how proteins fold, and by extension how they misfold. By gaining a greater understanding of how protein folding works, we may gain knowledge of what causes many diseases, and, potentially, possible cures for them. By donating your spare computational cycles and some electricity, you can become part of one of the most ambitious scientific projects in history.
