Football stars turn out in force for funeral for Pat Lampard, led by her 'boy Frankie'

Tribute: Frank Lampard senior holds a red rose for his late wife
The 58-year-old was admitted to a London hospital and her son missed Premier League games home and away to be at her bedside.

Frank was joined by his wife Elen Rives and various team mates including John Terry and Ashley Cole as he paid his last respects at St Margaret's Church in Barking.

His father, Frank Lampard senior, carried a single red rose in honour of his late wife.

Pat's sister, Sandra, broke down and was comforted by her husband, Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp and their son Jamie.

A handwritten card sat on a bouquet of flowers from the 29-year-old England star, which read: “To my darling mum. You are my everything.

“My mum and my best friend. All I have done and all I will do in my life is to make you proud.

“I hope I have. I will think of you every minute of every day.

“Love From your boy Frankie.”

四年前还效力蓝军的格伦夏尔的母亲是那年6月份左右去世的，当时他是欧洲杯打保加利亚就回去了，还进了个球，同样很快就把进球献给过世的母亲了

对，我想起来了，这事当时体坛周报还有报道，就因为这事有些球迷喜欢上格伦夏尔了，现在还有人在百度建了格伦夏尔吧

兰帕德出道于西汉姆青训营，当时姨父老雷德克纳普是主教练，爸爸老兰帕德是助理教练（两人都是我英国脚）

后来慢慢成长为西汉姆主力，和特里，里奥费迪南德，乔科尔，卡里克一起组成西汉姆青年帮
