June 14, 2007 - The producer and director of Team Ninja's upcoming PS3 game Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Yosuke Hayashi, has spoken to Pro-G about the possibility of the fighting franchise making its way to Nintendo's arm-flailing Wii at a recent London press event. "We would make something for the Wii if we came up with something unique that would only work on the Wii," said Hayashi. "There are several groups within Team Ninja. The PS3 group, the Xbox 360 group, and there are Wii fans in Team Ninja." Just last month, Team Ninja founder Tomonobu Itagaki spoke out about the development of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for DS, and when asked if he were to develop for Wii, he had similar thoughs. Itagaki said he'd "definitely" go the route Team Ninja's taking with the DS, which is to "really utilize its strengths as a [sic] platform." |
