原定在2007.6.22上市的XB360次时代科幻RPG大作《质量效应》，今天游戏发行商宣布延期至2007年9月上市。

Annoncé via le dernier planning de Microsoft pour le 22 juin prochain en Europe, le constructeur confirme aujourd’hui un nouveau retard pour la sortie de Mass Effect sur le Vieux Continent. Retour à la case départ puisque Microsoft prévoit finalement de commercialiser le RPG de Bioware courant du premier trimestre de son année fiscale 2007/2008, soit entre début juillet et fin septembre. Rappelons que Mass Effect proposera d’incarner le commandant Shepard afin d’empêcher la révolte des machines, qui selon la prophétie, réapparaissent par cycle pour éliminer toute forme de vie dans la galaxie.

Mass Effect官方论坛上的社群经理Chris表示游戏目前还没有得到美国ESRB分级单位给定的区分代号，一旦获知ESRB对"质量效应"的分级後Bioware会在官方论坛宣布正式的上市日期。Chris并表示除了在此论坛与官方网页索揭示的日期外，所有网路上流传的日期都来自猜测。现在"质量效应"还没有决定发行日期。
