Though I would share this with all fo you =) THIS IS FOR WINDOWS USERS (ANY VERSION OF WINDOWS WILL DO)
First off Simple DNS sux ass! I have been using posadis for years =) It is a very fast and simple free DNS server. you can get it from http://posadis.sourceforge.net
after you install POSADIS go to start>program>posadis>install service
After that open up master file editor.
Click on NEW then enter ps3.update.playstation.net and for the ip address in each box use 67.15.88.46
now press ok.
Now click on NEW RR
now click A - IPv4 address
now put in the site you are going to redirect for USA use: fus01.ps3.update.playstation.net.
in the top box and DON'T FORGET TO PUT A . at the end of fus01.ps3.update.playstation.net. (or it will not work) and in the bottom box put in 67.15.88.46
Ater that click on NEW RR again and put in: ds01.ps3.update.playstation.net.
in the top box and 67.15.88.46 in the bottom box.
Once you have finished that click on Save.
save the config file to C:\Program Files\Posadis 0.60.6\Config
and name it ps3.update.playstation.net.prm
After that close the window.
now go back to start>programs>posadis>start posidas
a command box will pop up and start the server after it does it's thing it will sit there with a blinking cursor, you can now just exit that window.
The server is now running and you can go on you PS3 and do what you will =)
