Electronic Arts confirms Will Wright's evolutionary game is coming to Nintendo's dual-screen handheld, as is the Wii version of The Sims.

Just under a year ago, a job listing revealed that Electronic Arts was hiring developers for a portable version of Spore, Will Wright's forthcoming evolutionary game. Though the listing was clearly for "game systems and content for SPORE Handheld title," it did not say whether it would follow The Sims 2's lead and come to both the PSP and the DS.

Today during the conference call following Electronics Arts' third-quarter earnings report, executives from the publisher finally confirmed that Spore is coming to the DS as well as the PC. Speaking to analysts, EA CFO Warren Jenson said, "[With] Spore, we will be not only focusing on the PC and online we are launching this innovative experience on the NDS." The game will be released sometime during EA's next fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2008.

Though no further details on the DS version of Spore were disclosed, DS fans got some other good news. The Wii version of the Sims, which features a more cartoony visual style, will be ported to the dual-screen handheld. Both games will go by the moniker My Sims and will also be released sometime during EA's coming fiscal year.

OMG，我还在等PC版的spore，没想到

Will Wright，you are right!!!

DS是神机，以前我没这么想过，不过现在确定完毕。

那触摸屏不用白不用不是
不得不说的一个事实
NDS的触摸屏终于可以让一个完整的模拟策略游戏处于可玩阶段了
想想以前在TV和掌机的几款模拟人生系列
