据国外媒体报道，微软的新一代Xbox One游戏主机近日又拥有了一项新特性：无限的云存储空间。
微软拥有最强大的云服务已经不再是新闻了，如Azure、SkyDrive和其它云产品和服务。目前这些云服务已经广泛用于Xbox One游戏机以提高其计算和渲染处理能力，不过这并不是云服务的全部功能，它另一个鲜为人知的功能是用于硬盘的扩展，存储和提取游戏数据。
其实这一功能也不完全算是一个新功能，因为微软上一代Xbox 360游戏机也有类似的功能。不过，Xbox 360的云服务仅拥有512MB的存储空间，只能用于存储游戏数据以及成绩数据。但现在，这一功能得到了重大的提升。
微软在一份声明中称：“Xbox Live为Xbox One游戏机向所有的Xbox Live成员提供无限量的云存储空间，用来存储多种类型的Xbox Live内容，包括你的个人设置、游戏、成绩和娱乐内容等，你可以随时随地访问你所存储的各项内容。”
在上一代Xbox游戏主机中，用户必须注册Xbox Live黄金账户才能拥有这项功能。而现在微软表示，这项服务现在将向所有的用户提供。

Offering storage space is something that is currently available on the Xbox 360, albeit a limited amount at the current time.  The Xbox 360 allows players to store 512 mb of cloud storage on the console, but a report out of PAX Australia suggests that this number could be increasing exponentially.

According to a statement out of the convention, Xbox Live subscribers will be able to access seemingly unlimited cloud storage on the Xbox One.

“Xbox Live offers Xbox One unlimited storage space in the cloud for all Xbox Live members to store numerous types of Xbox Live content, including your profile, games, Achievements and entertainment. This content is stored and saved in the cloud so you can automatically access it anywhere, anytime, no matter where you are.”

The Xbox One has been announced to be arriving with a 500 GB HDD.  Some have already started to question whether that would be enough storage in the next generation.  With games sizes likely to increase, the continuation of the downloadable content trend, and the introduction of streaming and capture features on the Xbox One, many assumed that they’d be needing to expand their storage capacity in short order.  This unlimited cloud storage sounds like it could remedy these problems.

我记得微软也不什么设备来着，就是无限量的
