Wii U Brand Manager Suggests Playing Wii Games on the GamePad is Possible

In an interview we shared yesterday, Nintendo of Spain’s Wii U brand manager briefly mentioned the Sensor Bar included on the Wii U GamePad. He didn’t talk too much about what it would be used for, but suggested one incredible possibility: that Wii games are theoretically playable exclusively on the Wii U GamePad, but Nintendo hasn’t yet confirmed whether it will be a feature that’s actually available.

Read on for his exact comments.

We still don’t know if you can play Wii games in the Wii U GamePad. It’s not confirmed, we don’t have any information yet, but as you say (speaking to the interviewer) Wii U is… you can play old Wii games, and as you also said, the Sensor Bar is included in the Wii U GamePad, so you are able to point the Wii Remote at the Wii U GamePad. It makes sense, but we have no information or confirmation about this feature.

What intrigues me most about this potential is that Nintendo seems to have been following a key trend in the recent expansion of gaming: the importance of having more screens available for play. If the Wii U GamePad can really be an all-purpose gaming screen by playing not only Wii U games free from the TV, but Wii games as well (including Virtual Console games), it’d definitely be the best option in existence for enjoying a wide range of content on a game screen that’s separate from other devices like a TV or PC.

在昨日接受Gengame采访的西班牙的Wii U品牌经理Pepe Arcas提到Wii U Game Pad也许能够玩Wii的游戏而且无需电视。
不过这消息仍未获得任天堂的证实。

西班牙的Wii U品牌经理Pepe Arcas表示：

"我们还不知道能否使用Wii U Game Pad的屏幕游玩Wii的游戏，这消息还未得到证实。我们手边也没有任何数据，
但你说(在采访中所提到)Wii U....可以玩Wii的旧游戏，而Wii U Game Pad也包含了感应棒的功能，所以你认为Wii U Game Pad可以搭配Wii Remote。这还蛮有道理的，不过我们没有任何关于这方面的讯息以及确认。"

怎么弄？比如BH4WII用PAD玩，怎么个指哪打哪啊。

或许Wii U Game Pad就相当于一台小屏幕电视，上面那个黑条不仅有摄像头，两端可能还内置了LED灯，相当于Wii的感应条

看之前网上出现的专利图片，还会有一个Game Pad的充电底座，相当于一个把Pad竖起来的支架，冬天的时候你就可以在被窝里用Wii Remote对着Pad指哪打哪了

不过任天堂没有公布确切消息前一切都是美好愿望

个人理解平时人物移动剧情画面什么的pad画面正常，但进入瞄准模式时移动pad画面进行感应，准星居中移动pad后瞄准射击。不过按照老卡的操行应该出个wiiu专用版用hd的素材来改

这本来就毫无难度啊，只不过比较蛋疼

双节棍游戏肯定是没法玩了

不可能吧！！！那么小屏幕 在被窝里……还用手柄…………这得多累 啊！！！！！

杠神别骗我，哪里确认可以用PAD玩全部WII游戏了？

pad上带红外条早就确认了，我说毫无难度，至于做不做我觉得应该没悬念
