BIG-MATCH FACTS

The season's surprise package, Hull City, were given a reality check by Chelsea on
Wednesday, crashing to a 0-3 defeat, after four straight victories, and dropped out
of the top four.

Now just three days later, Phil Brown's Play-Off winners face another of the title
contenders in defending champions Manchester United at Old Trafford, who are pursuing
their 400th Premier League victory - all under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways midweek, after being held by Everton at
Goodison Park, beating West Ham at the Theatre of Dreams with two unanswered
Cristiano Ronaldo goals.

United are unbeaten at home; the Tigers undefeated away from home.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side
, who are eight points off the pace with a game in hand,
are vying for a fourth successive home victory.

City are in danger of suffering successive defeats for the first time ever in top-flight
football, but cross the Pennines in search of a fifth straight league win on the road.

Hull's only victory at Old Trafford was 0-2 in the third round of the FA Cup on
12 January 1952, when they were in the lower reaches of the Second Division and
United went on that season to win the first of their post-war Football League titles.

Distance between the clubs: 103 miles (166 kilometres)
