There is a new "main enemy" who is also, like Hayabusa, a "super ninja." The article quotes Team NINJA as saying the new enemy is "bad-ass looking." Dabilahro (horribly misspelled in the article) is NOT returning. The game is far more linear (not just the level that we saw; supposedly all of it is like that to eliminate back-tracking and 'dead' areas). The team believes that the fantasy setting of NG2 will help it avoid the AO Manhunt was recently given and get the M rating they want. Development is currently at about 40%, with the game supposed to ship in Spring of '08. Tonfas are a new weapon confirmed (but not pictured, unfortunately). It was already shown, but enemies who've been. . .amputation procedure patients are still threats. An example given is an enemy who's had its legs removed can pull the pin on a grenade and drag itself towards you. Tight stuff there. Supposedly the enemy AI will use cooperative attacks on you in the final game, but advanced AI hasn't been added to the game yet.
