POCKET BOOKS TO PUBLISH ASSASSIN’S CREED™ NOVELS

New York, NY—March 12, 2007 - Pocket Books is thrilled to announce they have newly acquired world rights to publish the novelization of ASSASSIN'S CREED™ – the highly anticipated new console game from Ubisoft (makers of the bestselling Prince of Persia video game series). Debuting in 2007 on next-generation video game consoles, Assassin’s Creed is a state-of-the-art gaming adventure that begins in the year 1191. Gamers play the role of Altair, fighting to save the Holy Land from war and corruption.

The first novel in a trilogy will be published in October 2007. The three titles, by New York Times bestselling author Steven Barnes, will expand on the game experience by immersing the reader in the back-story of Altair and his further adventures in the rich setting of the Third Crusade.

没错。小说应该不会早于游戏。不然岂不是大大剧透，自抽耳光～

因此所有关于《刺客信条》即将发售的流言都可以XHW了，包括不久前那个“Xbox香港官网发售表”所谓的AC四月发售

看成了assassin‘s apprentice triology了。。。还以为hobin阿姨想把她的书改成游戏呢。。。。
