冒充港版三红灯受害者向澳洲微软发了封寻求技术支持邮件

早上起来闲来无事,想起来最近TG上议论纷纷的X360三红灯问题,因为我要入手港版带到澳洲来(不打算刷机),所以对这个问题也有点小小的害怕。于是冒充港版X360三红灯受害用户,去http://www.xbox.com/en-au/的技术支持页面给澳洲X360官方发了一封求助电子邮件。目的也只是想知道澳洲X360官方对这件事情的态度,以及想知道未刷机的港版X360,如果真的遇到了三红灯问题,能不能像澳洲行货一样得到微软官方的修理或者更换。

我发的电子邮件全文如下:

Hi there,

I have an imported XBOX360 (Hong Kong version) in Australia and some problems occur occationally during my play. There sometimes are three red lights flashing on the front panel and the console can not start anymore. My question is, could you fix this problem or replace an new XBOX 360 console to me? Are there any warranty services for imported XBOX360 console (Not Australian version)?

结果仅仅过了几个小时时间,微软官方就给我回复了电子邮件,全文如下(只做了排版调整,未删增任何内容):

Thank you for writing Xbox Customer Support!

I do apologize for the inconvenience and we at email support lines are willing to help you.

And as I understand that you see three lights on the Ring of Light flash red on the front of the Xbox 360 console. The upper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red.

With this behavior, Your Xbox 360 console experiences a hardware failure.

Please try the following steps to resolve the concern that you’re having:

1.         Please follow these steps:
            a.         Turn off the console.
            b.         Unplug all the power and AV cables from the console.
            c.         Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
            d.         Firmly reconnect all the cables. Make sure that the power supply unit is directly connected to the wall socket.
            e.         Turn on the console.

2. Examine the lights on the power supply. When you turn on the console, the power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the RoL flash red. Please check on this link if the power supply light is as follows:

邮件的内容还是比较详细的,先礼貌性的道歉,然后告诉了三红灯的普遍解决办法和步骤,虽然不知道这种有点撞大运的办法有没有用。另外还提到了各种联系方法和修理意见。不过我最关心港版X360是否可以像澳洲行货那样得到保修,这个问题邮件里说得比较含糊,只是说拨打支持热线,报出机身序列号就可以修理。我的理解是港版X360同样可以在澳洲享受微软官方的保修服务,因为我在原始邮件里反复提到我的X360是Hong Kong version,not Australian Version,而在回复邮件里微软的技术人员似乎并不care我的X360的版本,只是说,报出序列号就可以修。

赞一个澳洲微软X360的服务,确实不错,邮件回复很及时,问题的解决方法的阐述也很详细。我可以安安心心的买港版X360了,不管什么65nm制程,也不管什么HDMI输入了,什么120G大硬盘了,反正出了问题有微软顶着。

另外说点题外话,感觉在国外不管是大公司还是小公司,他们都把顾客的售后服务当作很重要的事情来做的。以前我的PDA屏幕碎了,想找HP Australia官方咨询一下看能不能换一块屏幕,也是只是发了封电子邮件,没过多久就收到很长的回复,详细告诉我换屏的步骤和联系方式,况且我的PDA还是中文版的1717,澳洲根本没有这个型号。不象国内的公司,收了钱卖了货就不管顾客死活了,别说你发电子邮件,打电话过去,就是拿着东西堵客服门口,都不一定能给顺顺当当的解决。 不过这也可能和澳洲人口少,客服没事干有关,打住打住。:D
